De Kübler absolute singleturn encoders 5853FS2 en 5873FS2 zijn geschikt voor gebruik in veiligheidsgerelateerde toepassingen tot SIL2 volgens EN 61800-5-2 of PLd volgens EN ISO 13849-1. De speciaal in elkaar grijpende lagers in het Safety Lock™-ontwerp, de hoge integratiedichtheid van de OptoASIC-gebaseerde componenten en de stabiele gegoten behuizing maken ze perfect voor veeleisende buitentoepassingen tot IP67.
